Pavilion for a contemporary art exhibition. Dialogue between architects and artist

The exhibition pavilion, named Anatta Haus, was built in 2012 by Johansen Skovsted Arkiteckter, on the occasion of the thirteenth edition of dOCUMENTA (13), a documentary exhibition of contemporary art held in Kassel, Germany

The exhibition pavilion entirely constructed using wood was built as a frame for the contribution of the artist Lea Porsager, Anatta Experiment, on the occasion of the thirteenth edition of dOCUMENTA (13) which took place in 2012 in Karlsaue Park, Kassel, on the western bank of the Fulda river

Thanks to the constant interaction between architects, artist and entrepreneurs, at the moment of the concept and the realization of the work, the final project perfectly meets the initial requirements, with a strong relationship and harmony between the building, artwork and location

The building is nothing more than an interpretation of the Elisarione in Monte Verità which, like Anatta House, is closely linked to the artist's work. The pavilion alludes through its geometry to the baroque lines that form the structure of the park in which it stands, alluding at the same time to the cladding of the Elisarion
