The varied and mostly unspoilt nature and the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, make Tschengla, a unique scenery and the newly built House, it plunges into this scenery as a "solitary " with its contours: a simple and well-structured wooden building
A small square engraved on the side of the hill, at the back, paves the way for the house to the street. The covered entrance leads to the interior, where a corridor that also houses the kitchen runs through the ground floor. This is the informal meeting point, the centre of the house. A small step forward leads to the dining room with seating and a large table facing south. A panoramic window extends across this side of the house
A solid stairwell leads to the "mansard" rooms, opening up the rather small living area and giving it a surprisingly bright air. The Schopf, a kind of closed veranda typical of the region, connects the kitchen to the west side of the house where there is an outdoor space with a fountain and a small herb garden
The diversity of rooms in the house is emphasized by the use of simple yet atmospheric materials. The untreated spruce, grey plaster and rough stone give this house a special and natural appearance
