The house, is enclosed between two trees, at the edge of a small village and resting on its slope seemingly to complement it. Important emphasis is placed on the staircase that divides the rooms, in fact the living area extends through the entire building: eating, cooking and living. Two terraces open under the tree to the west opening up to a spectacular view of the village below and the surrounding mountain scenery. The most important piece of furniture is the stove, which divides the living area into two parts

The geometry of the house is spontaneously developed by following its surroundings, the slope, the view, the trees. So Innauer Matt Architekten studio designed the house following the basic and essential geometries where the rooms are separated but never completely divided
On each floor, a closed service area underlines the longitudinal alignment of the house. The masonry area distinguishes the living area from the secondary rooms. Its spatial depth is highlighted by niches and projections similar to reliefs. These elements, made of solid fir from nearby forests, alternate with handmade plaster surfaces, made of light grey marble powder
The private floor is located on the first floor, in the attic. Here a lattice structure, made of wooden tracks is used to create a texture, like a dress, that is carefully woven, hidden and revealing at the same time. However, since the building is deliberately simple in geometry, but does not conceal the fact that the house is clearly structured, it has a steep roof and structural elements such as cantilevers
