A private house located in Bnei Atarot, near the metropolitan area of Tel Aviv, built 10 years ago and covering an area of 185 square metres has been renovated by the Israeli studio Perri. In Israel, a private house covering 185 square metres, built 10 years ago which is no longer able to adapt to the new needs of the family, has been renovated and has acquired personality and value, becoming a real villa with a prestigious appearance
The project involved the extension of the house from one floor to two floors: the upper floor would be used as a bedroom for the parents, a bathroom and a walk-in closet, while the lower floor was renovated with new separation walls, furniture, decorations, lighting
The design of the house has modern lines and the use of wood and metal as main materials is reminiscent of the Nordic style
The wooden ceiling, which is 8 metres high, has been whitewashed in the living area so that it reflects natural light. The lighting fittings made of bamboo ropes hang from the ceiling, a design used in the staircase railing and in the living room ceiling and table, where black metal ropes can be seen
The warm and welcoming master bedroom is furnished in a modern style, while the children's rooms are designed according to their favourite colours. As for the bathrooms, the upper one of the parents has a white painted ceiling, while the main bathroom has been totally renovated and covered with black and white tiles
