The cabin is located on a rocky cliff in Colorado, the two cabins are reminiscent of the vernacular buildings in the area with their gabled roof and rustic materials. The exterior cladding is made of cedar wood, and is tinted dark to blend the house with the forest around it
The interior walls and ceilings, designed to be made of plywood, keep the cabin simple and rustic. Thanks to the large windows, the occupants are projected onto the surrounding landscape. Natural light filters through all sides of the house. Energy consumption is reduced to a minimum
