Wooden dwelling among the trees
House surrounded by trees. Wooden modules and garden roof

The iRArquitectura studio designs a house, AA House, in a district of villas in the province of Buenos Aires, making the most of the exposure of the interiors that remain in keeping with a predetermined architectural model

The location of the house plot in Tortuguitas, Buenos Aires, guarantees the best possible range of sunshine at the points where the main rooms of the house are located, on the north side. A formal and a constructive aspect determine the architectural model

One or two inclined planes characterize the section. The supporting structure is made of wood with beams that continue to the point where the wall is interrupted. The outer facades are clad in vertically arranged wooden planks, except for two elements in transparent corrugated polycarbonate

The interiors have mud walls, which are refined with a mixture of clay that evens out the finish. A green roof covers the roof surface, guaranteeing a high thermodynamic performance, thanks to the absorption of ambient humidity and natural temperature regulation
